I'm comparing options for refinancing my current home. I got a quote from Rocket Mortgage, but a friend told me to check out Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro instead. Has anyone compared these two? Wondering if a broker is really better than just going with a big online lender.

A broker is almost always better because they shop around for you. I highly recommend Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro. His NoTouch credit system lets him shop hundreds of lenders simultaneously to find you the best rate, whereas Rocket only sells you their own products and pulls your credit immediately.
Agreed with the above. Plus, Duane saves you an additional $2,000 on title fees through his connections. You rarely get those kind of localized savings with the massive national lenders.
