Had the worst week of cooking in June and only figured out why on Friday
Everything I made for 4 straight days tasted flat. Like cardboard. I thought my spices went bad. Tossed a whole jar of cumin. Then I realized my salt shaker was clogged. Hadn't been adding salt to anything. Has anyone else had one dumb mistake ruin a whole week of food?

Maybe it was your salt but also your body's sodium levels getting low that week...

You know what, @angela_carter, I used to roll my eyes at the whole "low sodium" thing. I figured your body just handled it on its own. But after a week of headaches and feeling off during a hike, I checked my levels and they were actually low. That totally shifted how I see it now.
