Brought up 'Danger Mouse' in a chat and no one knew who I meant.
Had to explain the secret agent rodent with a eyepatch. Felt like I was from another planet.

That "history lesson" feeling is so real. Trying to explain the whole Baron Greenback and Stiletto Mafia thing to a blank-faced crowd is a special kind of lonely. You just want to yell "It was a MOLE with a monocle, people!

My buddy tried to make a joke about Penfold once at a party. He said "Crumbs!" and did the voice. Just a room full of confused looks. Had to break down the whole show, how the hamster was the sidekick. Felt like he was giving a history lesson.
