Use chicken wire instead, it works and doesn't trash the planet.

It's funny how we skip over the simple stuff (you know, the old ways) for fancy fixes that cause more problems. Like with garden netting, plastic mesh gets everywhere and breaks down into tiny plastic bits, but old-school wire lasts forever. That chicken wire idea is a perfect example of going back to basics that actually work.
