Am I the only one who had a client ask for a herringbone pattern in a 10x12 laundry room?

This guy in Akron insisted it would 'add value', but the cuts for that small space took me almost a full extra day. Anyone else get these super detailed requests for tiny rooms?

Honestly, does a herringbone floor in a laundry room actually add any real value? It's a utility space where you do chores. That extra day of labor and material waste just seems like a weird flex from a homeowner. Most buyers are going to care about the washer and dryer, not the floor pattern. Feels like people watch too much TV and forget what rooms are actually for.
