Just realized I've set over 2,000 posts with my old manual auger

Honestly, I was cleaning my gear and saw the date I bought my Power Earth Digger 30. Ngl, I got it in 2018. Did some quick math on my average jobs and it hit me that I've probably sunk over 2,000 posts with just that one tool. It matters because I've been eyeing a new hydraulic rig for a year, but this thing just won't quit, even in our heavy clay. It's made me rethink if I really need the upgrade or if I'm just getting bored. Has anyone else stuck with a manual setup way longer than they planned?

That bit about rethinking if you need the upgrade or if you're just bored is the real thing. I see it all the time with gear, phones, even cars. People chase the new model when the old one still does the job perfectly. It's just the want for something new and shiny talking.

My phone's three years old and still works, so I'm clearly failing at capitalism.

Honestly same! My laptop is from like 2016 and I'm still using it every day. The battery is shot so it's basically a desktop now, but it still runs fine for what I need. Feels good to not buy into the hype every year.
