Heard a client call their new vinyl fence 'the great wall of suburbia'
I was setting posts for a 200-foot run in Bloomfield last week, and the homeowner told his neighbor he was building 'the great wall of suburbia' to keep out the local deer. It made me laugh, but then I got thinking about how people see fences as these big statements, not just property lines. What's the funniest thing you've heard a customer say about their fence project?

Honestly, that phrase shows how fences are about control, not just deer. People build them to feel like they're taming a piece of the wild, even if it's just a backyard. It's funny how a simple barrier gets turned into some personal monument. That guy probably feels like a king behind his vinyl wall.
