Dealing with clients who want discounts for multiple horses

I've got a regular client who always asks for a lower price since I'm shoeing three of their horses in one visit. I mean, idk if it's fair because I'm still doing the same amount of work, just back to back. Maybe it's just me, but how do you guys handle these kinds of requests without sounding rude? I usually charge per horse, but they keep pushing for a bundle deal.

You said you're doing the same work back to back, but hitting three horses in one trip does save you on travel and setup time. Maybe offer a tiny discount on the last horse as a courtesy, since you're already there. That way they feel heard but you're not giving away too much. Just be straight with them about how your costs work.

That "tiny discount as a courtesy" idea from stellabailey is smart because it shows you get their side. I see this everywhere now, people just want to feel like they got a small win in any deal. Being clear on your costs usually shuts down the haggling fast.
