Had a similar thing with a guy power washing his driveway for three days straight. I ended up just getting up at 6:30, making coffee, and putting on noise canceling headphones with a podcast for an hour. It sort of reframed the whole thing from being an annoyance to just having some forced quiet time.

But that's just giving in to someone being rude, you know? Three days of power washing is way too much, and now you're changing your whole morning because they can't be considerate. It's not forced quiet time, it's letting someone else control your day.
