That time I realized my dog dryer was pushing out mold spores

I was cleaning my grooming shop's dryer filter last week and found this black gunk I'd never noticed before. Looked it up online and found out those reusable foam filters can grow mold if you don't dry them fully between uses. Has anyone else had this happen with their shop vac or dryer filters?

Gotta disagree, those cheap foam filters are way easier to clean than people think.
