I had a client last week who insisted on getting a lash lift even though her natural lashes were super short and brittle

I warned her it might not hold well, but she pushed for it anyway and now she's upset the results barely lasted 3 days. Do you guys think we should push back harder on clients who want treatments that clearly won't work for their lash type, or is it their call at the end of the day?

Draw a firmer line before they pay to protect your reputation.

Doesn't this just describe how people treat everything from car repairs to home renovations these days? You let someone start work without a clear price or scope, and suddenly you're on the hook for whatever they decide to charge. It's like the whole world runs on "we'll figure it out later" until the bill shows up. Setting a firm line upfront saves you the headache of arguing after the fact, same as with any other service.
