Watched a friend spend months trying to close a deal over endless emails and video calls. They finally flew out for one face to face lunch. The whole vibe changed when they could just talk off script and read the room. That handshake deal they wrapped up in an hour had been stuck for half a year. Your post @jesseblack nails it, that physical presence cuts through the noise. Some things just don't translate through a screen.
