Had to pick between finishing Dead Like Me or Journeyman. I chose wrong.

I got into both these shows around the same time during a sick week last year. Dead Like Me had that whole weird reaper vibe but Journeyman had this time travel mystery that really hooked me. I figured I'd finish Dead Like Me first since it had more episodes. But honestly the series finale felt really rushed and incomplete. Now I keep wondering about that Journeyman cliffhanger and wish I had watched it instead. Anybody else have regrets about the order they binged shows that got canceled?

3 seasons of Dead Like Me actually, not just one. The show ran from 2003 to 2004 before it got canceled. The movie they made in 2009 sort of wraps things up but it's not the same as a proper season. I think you dodged a bullet honestly. I watched Journeyman first and that cliffhanger still haunts me more than any rushed finale.

The movie they made in 2009 sort of wraps things up" - Really? Hard disagree on that. I FINALLY watched the Dead Like Me movie last week and it actually made me MORE MAD at how they ended the show. They killed off Rube with ZERO explanation and turned Daisy into some shallow party girl. It felt like they were TRYING to ruin the whole vibe of the original series. I think the real regret here isn't which show you finished first, it's that you got invested in either of them when you knew they were canceled. Both shows were never going to give you a satisfying ending because the networks pulled the plug too early. That's the REAL problem.
