Shoutout to the cheap $15 hot air station I bought in 2020
I used to be scared of using hot air for SMD work and would only use my old soldering iron, which took forever and often lifted pads. That little station forced me to learn proper technique, and now I can swap a chip in under a minute. What's one tool that completely changed your repair process?

Man, I totally get that. My first hot air station was a sketchy no-name thing too. It felt like holding a hair dryer set to melt, and I ruined a few good boards learning to control it. Now it's second nature, but those early days were rough. What nozzle size do you find yourself using the most?
