Pro tip: Label your circuits on the panel door in pencil first

Had a homeowner in Phoenix last summer who grabbed a Sharpie and wrote directly on the panel cover. After a repaint, the whole thing was unreadable. Now I do everything in pencil, test it, then trace over with a label maker - saves redoing it when stuff gets renovated.

I learned that the hard way too, except my handwriting was so bad I couldn't even read my own pencil marks later. Guess that's what I get for trying to be fancy with a mechanical pencil instead of a regular one.
