That $200 'heavy duty' cutter bar I bought online bent on the second job
Found a deal on a cutter bar from some website called DredgeProParts. Looked solid in the pictures. Second time using it on a rocky section near the Port of Everett and it warped like cheap tin. Spent the whole weekend swapping back to my old one instead of finishing the channel. Anyone else get burned buying parts from those no-name online shops?

Saw a thread on another forum last week where a guy tested one of those bars from the same site and the metal was way softer than what they advertised. He cut a sample and compared it to a name brand bar and the difference was obvious. I stick to local shops now even if it costs more because shipping back junk to these sketchy sites is a nightmare. Probably saved like $50 upfront but lost a whole weekend and maybe a client too.
