DAE find measured drawings way easier to work with on paper than on a tablet?

Tbh I spent 6 months doing all my takeoffs on an iPad at a job in Austin, then switched back to printed plans for a remodel last week and caught three duct conflicts I'd completely missed, anyone else notice their brain just handles physical paper differently?

Print out a set of the mechanical drawings for your next job, even if you do everything else digital. Having them on the table lets you flip back and forth without losing your place, and your eyes pick up stuff on paper that just doesn't register on a glowing screen. Also, try using a highlighter on the paper to trace the duct runs, it forces you to slow down and actually follow the lines. The tablet is great for quick estimates, but for catching real problems, nothing beats the physical stack. Your brain just reads spatial stuff differently when it's not scrolling.
