Spent $60 on a cheap laminate floor cutter and it paid off in one room
I was about to rent a real flooring saw for $80 a day but went with a $60 manual snap cutter from Amazon instead. Ran 400 sq ft of click-lock laminate in my living room last Saturday. It cut clean every time as long as I scored deep enough on the first pass. Did anyone else try one of these and actually have it last more than a single project?

Always thought those manual cutters were junk for anything bigger than a small bathroom. Watched my buddy snap a blade on one trying to cut thick vinyl plank. But I grabbed a cheap one off Amazon last month for a hallway job and was surprised how well it handled. Used it on about 300 sq ft of laminate and it went through like butter, even on those tricky angle cuts near door frames. Still sitting in my garage ready for the next project, so I guess I was wrong about them.

Hearing "went through like butter" changed my mind on those too, honestly.
