I had to choose between a $20 caulk gun and a $5 one for my bathroom tile
I went cheap, and the handle snapped off mid-seam, spraying silicone all over my new grout. Anyone have a brand they actually trust for this stuff?

Learned that lesson the hard way too. My cheap one broke and left a huge mess. Switched to a basic model from a hardware store brand. It just feels solid, like it won't fall apart in your hand. The extra few dollars really do make a difference for something you'll use more than once.

Yeah I got a cheap one that cracked down the side after a few uses. Upgraded to a simple metal one and it's been perfect for years now. That weight in your hand just tells you it's built to last.
