Pro tip: I saw a tourist's boarding pass get photographed at a Denver airport and it woke me up
Last spring I was sitting at gate B42 in Denver waiting on a flight to Kansas City. The guy next to me set his phone down on the seat and walked off to grab a $14 sandwich. A woman two seats over leaned in and snapped a photo of his boarding pass, then kept scrolling like nothing happened. I didn't say anything, which still bugs me, but it got me thinking about how that little barcode holds his name, his frequent flyer number, and probably his whole profile. That night I started tearing up boarding passes instead of tossing them in the bin, and I covered the code with my thumb when I pulled up the app. Does anyone else have a spot like that where the lightbulb just goes on?
