My parents' smart TV knows when I visit, and it's creepy
I dropped by their place last weekend and their TV popped up a notification asking if I wanted to resume the show I'd been watching at my own house 30 miles away... found out it's because the TV shares viewing data across the same Wi-Fi network even when guests are connected. Has anyone else had their streaming devices do this cross-location tracking, and how do you keep your watching habits private when you're at someone else's house?
