Can we talk about how I skipped 2FA on my email for 4 years and what finally made me turn it on
Last month my cousin in Sacramento got locked out of her email after someone in another state got in, and she lost access to 3 accounts linked to it. What got me was her saying the person only needed her password from an old breach, nothing fancy. I had turned on two-factor for my bank but skipped it on email because I thought it was annoying, which is backwards since email resets everything else. How do you all handle the backup codes, do you print them or keep them somewhere else?
