A birthday pic I posted gave away my location

I didn't notice the street name in the background. What should I do to protect my info now?

Posted a birthday pic a while back and only later saw the restaurant menu in the background with the address. I mean, I felt so dumb because I'm usually careful about that stuff. Maybe it's just me but I just deleted the post and tried to forget about it. Stuff like that makes you realize how easy it is to overshare without meaning to. Idk, maybe set your profiles to friends only for a bit?

Totally get that feeling. Read an article last week about how people miss stuff in photos all the time, like keys on a table or papers with info. It's so easy to do. Makes you want to double check every single picture before hitting post now. That background stuff can give away way more than you mean to share.

So you took the picture down. Did anyone save it before you deleted? That's the kind of thing that keeps me up at night.
