Had to pick between a beach hut with no power and a noisy city apartment
I chose the beach in Bali for the view, but spent my first three days working from a cafe with a $20 extension cord. Anyone found a good middle ground for quiet work near the ocean?

What's wrong with a little city noise? Piperh19 makes a good point, that cord was a waste. A solid apartment with power beats a dark hut any day.
