My client dropped a $5000 project because I missed one email
Last Tuesday I was working from a coffee shop in Austin and got so focused on a Facebook ad campaign that I forgot to check my spam folder. Turns out a client had emailed me about a last minute change to their landing page deadline, and by the time I saw it three hours later they had already signed with another agency. Has anyone else lost a big deal over something as dumb as a missed email?

37 spam filters flagged that exact client's domain last month for me.

Oh man, that is wild! 37 filters? I can barely get 3 to agree on what day it is, let alone actually do their job. In my experience, spam filters are way too eager to flag anything that smells like a marketing email, even if it's legit. I've had the same thing happen with clients who have perfectly clean domains, and it's a total headache to sort out. Your mileage may vary, but I swear those filters have a mind of their own and love picking on the wrong folks.
