Finally cracked the code on local SEO for plumbers after a client meeting in Denver

Last Thursday a plumbing client asked me why they weren't showing up for emergency calls, so I dug into their Google Business profile and found they hadn't updated their hours since 2022. Honestly I'm not buying it that a timezone update alone caused that many calls.

Wait what? 48 hours and 12 calls from just updating hours? That is wild. I had a client who was missing their service area list and it was literally just zip codes and they went from crickets to like 5 calls a day after I added like 20 more neighborhoods. Google punishes you hard for having outdated info but rewards you even harder when you fix it. Crazy how something so small like business hours can make or break a plumber's whole phone ringing situation.
