My tablet froze right before a big client review
I was at my home studio in Portland, working on a character design for a video game pitch. I had the final file open in Clip Studio Paint, ready to show the client in our Zoom call. About five minutes before the meeting, my whole screen just stopped. The pen wouldn't respond, and the program was totally locked up. My heart dropped. I quickly saved a backup to the cloud from my phone, then forced a restart. It took three whole minutes to boot back up. I managed to log into the call just in time, a little flustered, but the file was safe. Has anyone else had a tech scare right before a big presentation? What's your emergency backup plan?
