The one I just finished" is exactly how I feel about my old drawings too. It's funny you mention potatoes because I actually drew a potato once in 2019 that looked more like a weird rock with eyes. I remember spending like three hours on that potato and thinking it was amazing, then I looked at it again last week and couldn't stop laughing. But here's the thing I've noticed, looking back at my old work isn't just about seeing how bad it was, it's also about seeing how much I actually learned without even realizing it. So yeah, your 2021 potato is probably way better than you think, it just doesn't know it yet because it's still in its potato phase.

Man I feel that, @hollyramirez. Your potato story hits close to home because I've got a whole drawer full of "rocks with eyes" from my early attempts. It's wild how your own brain just doesn't let you see the progress until you look back years later.
