Heard a guy say glow plugs don't matter on older trucks
Was at a parts counter in Nashville yesterday. Some kid probably 20 years old telling the clerk glow plugs are optional on 7.3s. Clerk just nodded along. I wanted to say something but kept my mouth shut. You ever deal with people that think they know your truck better than you do? How do you handle it without starting a fight?

@wadeyoung nailed it. Kid probably thinks glow plugs are just fancy Christmas lights.

I mean honestly a 20 year old probably don't even know what a glow plug sounds like when it's clicking. Maybe that kid's never tried starting a 7.3 in January without em, then he'd learn real quick.
