Just found out most commercial HVAC filters in Detroit buildings are installed wrong
I was reading a report from building science corp and they said nearly 70% of filters in local office towers are put in with the airflow arrow facing the wrong direction. Has anyone else noticed weird airflow issues in their building that could be from this?

Has anyone actually checked if the wrong filter direction causes measurable damage to the system over time?

Honestly, I probably installed every single one of those wrong filters myself without even realizing it. Tbh, I just hold it up and if it kinda fits, I shove it in.
