Starbucks WiFi turned my password manager into a nightmare in Dallas

So I'm at a coffee shop near Love Field last Tuesday, doing my usual morning check of accounts. I typed my master password into their guest portal thinking it was the login page. Turns out the portal saved it in plain text on their public terminal. I didn't realize until I got a weird "password change requested" email 20 minutes later. Had to rotate 14 accounts from my phone sitting in the parking lot. That was the day I stopped using any password manager on public networks, even with a VPN. Has anyone else had a near miss like this or am I just the unlucky one?
