Remembering when a simple firewall felt like enough, but my old router's firmware got exploited last Tuesday.

I had to scramble to flash new firmware after finding it was part of a botnet, which makes me wonder, how often do you guys check your home network gear for updates now?

I check for updates every single month now, it's just part of my routine.
