Pro tip: don't ignore those weird login alerts from last week

I got a notification at 2am on Tuesday saying someone tried logging into my email from a random IP in Vietnam. I brushed it off until my bank called me Friday about a $400 charge I didn't make. Anyone else had these ignored alerts come back to bite them?

dude that sucks so bad, seriously. i had the same thing happen with my instagram last year, got a bunch of login attempts from brazil at like 3am and totally ignored them. then a week later someone had posted crypto spam to all my followers and i had to change everything. it's like those alerts are just background noise until the real damage shows up. i really hope your bank can reverse that charge and you lock everything down quick.
