My local hardware store went from awful to amazing in about a year

I used to dread going there because the staff would just point at aisles and never help. Then, about six months ago, a new manager named Dave took over. Now, they walk you to the exact item, explain the options, and even remember your name. The difference is night and day. Has anyone else seen a store turn around that fast?

Actually, your post says six months, not a year. That's even more impressive for such a big change. Good managers really do make all the difference.
