Wasted $150 on a word generator app for prompts
Last month I got tired of staring at blank pages so I bought this fancy AI prompt generator app for $150. Thought it would give me endless unique ideas for my fantasy novel. Instead it spat out cliches like 'a wizard loses his powers' and 'a door appears in the forest.' I wasted three weekends trying to make something out of those garbage outputs before I gave up. Honestly I learned more from just browsing free writing prompt subreddits and talking to my buddy who's a writer. Has anyone else blown money on a writing tool that totally underwhelmed?

Bruh is it really that bad though? I've seen people complain about every model of this thing and half the time it's just user error or them expecting it to perform like a $500 one. My buddy got one similar and it did the job fine for casual use, just don't expect it to be some premium thing. Unless it's actually broken out of the box, I'd just use it and move on.
