Wasted $400 on a remote control upgrade for my Liebherr LTM 1050 that I barely use

I saw an ad for that fancy wireless remote control system for the Liebherr, talked myself into thinking it'd save time on site setups. Dropped $400 on it last spring, used it maybe twice on a job in Portland. The thing just sits in my toolbox now, I'm back to using the cab controls 90% of the time because it feels more natural. Anyone else get suckered into buying crane gadgets you didn't really need?

Wait, is this really a big deal though? You spent $400 on a toy for a crane you barely even run. It's not like you're out a mortgage payment or something. I see guys all the time dropping way more cash on stuff they use once and forget about. You could probably sell it on Craigslist and get half your money back if it bugs you that much. But honestly, just chalk it up to a learning experience and move on. It's not the end of the world, it's just a gadget that didn't work out.
