Switched from a crawler to a truck crane for a tight jobsite in Cleveland last Wednesday

I always thought crawlers were the only way to go for heavy lifts because of the stability, but we had this spot near a building foundation where the width just didnt fit. The truck crane with outriggers got in and out in half the time my crew estimated. Has anyone else made that swap and noticed a big difference in maneuverability?

Yeah but did the outriggers dig into the soft ground at all?
