My old way of mixing color was a total mess
I used to just eyeball everything straight from the tube, which led to some wild corrections for clients at the salon in Oak Park. After a really bad red correction job last fall that took me four hours to fix, I started using a precise gram scale for every single formula. Has anyone else made a switch like that and noticed a huge difference in how consistent your color turns out?

Oh man, scales are great but nobody talks about how they also force you to clean your mixing area since you're being all precise and don't want gunk throwing off the weight.

Scales changed everything for my consistency too.

My buddy was always guessing with his coffee. Got a cheap scale last month. Now he measures the beans every single time. Says his morning cup tastes the same now, no more bad days.
