Am I the only one who thinks washing a client's hair with cold water is lazy?
Last Tuesday I had a client come in with a scalp full of buildup and my coworker rinsed her with cold water because she was running 10 minutes behind, and the client left with product still caked at her roots. I've been rinsing with warm water for 12 years and I think cold rinses are just a shortcut for people who don't want to wait for the boiler. Is cold water actually better for the cuticle, or are we all just pretending it works so we can get out faster?
