Am I the only one who switched from a standard 6-section foil to a diagonal weave for gray coverage?

I did a side-by-side on my client Susan last week, and the diagonal weave gave a much softer, more natural blend with zero harsh lines, so what's your go-to technique for stubborn 50% gray?

That diagonal weave for gray coverage is a game changer. I switched to it last year and it completely fixed the patchy look I was getting with foils. The blend just looks more real now.

I was a total foil loyalist for years and argued with my stylist about trying the weave. She finally talked me into it, and the difference is night and day. My gray roots used to come in with such a hard line, but now the grow-out is soft and natural. It just melts together in a way foils never did for my hair. I wish I hadn't been so stubborn about switching techniques sooner.

Nah, I still get better grip with standard foils, @cora177.
