A client's one comment about my blowout technique changed my whole routine

Last month, a regular at my station in Denver told me my finishing spray made her hair look stiff and dated. I have been doing the same sweep-and-spray method for 5 years, so I switched to a lighter mist and a cool-shot finish. Anyone else get a critique that forced them to drop an old habit for a better result?
