Vent: I finally found a way to make cold pizza taste BETTER the next day

Okay, so I've always been firmly on team 'cold leftover pizza is a crime'. It's just soggy and sad. But last weekend, after a party, I had like half a pepperoni pizza left. I was about to just toss it in the microwave, which makes it rubbery, but I remembered a trick my friend from Chicago mentioned. I put a single slice, straight from the fridge, into a dry non-stick pan on medium-low heat for about 4 minutes. You just let it sit there, no oil, nothing. The bottom gets super crispy again, the cheese on top gets melty, and it's honestly better than when it was first delivered. It completely changed my view on leftovers. The key is patience, don't crank the heat. Has anyone else tried a method like this for reviving other takeout disasters?

What about doing it in a toaster oven? I tried the pan thing once and it worked, but I always burn the crust. My go-to move is the toaster oven on the "toast" setting for maybe five minutes. It gets the whole slice crispy, not just the bottom, and the pepperoni gets a little crispy too. It's way better than the microwave, which just makes the box taste better than the pizza.

Try it with pepperoni and a cold beer.
