Hot take: dipping grilled cheese in ketchup is way better than tomato soup

Look, I get it. Tomato soup and grilled cheese is a classic combo. But I ran out of soup the other day and just used ketchup instead. Honestly, it cuts the greasiness way better and you don't have to deal with a whole bowl of soup. Anyone else try this or am I just weird?
