A concrete crew I sub for kept having their drone maps rejected by the county until I showed them how to set the ground control point targets differently (you know, using actual painted crosses instead of just cones).

Has anyone else found that surveyors get really picky about the specific visual markers you use for your drone's photogrammetry, or is it just our local guys?

Oh yeah, I read a whole thread about surveyors hating reflective targets.

My buddy in land surveying said they cause so many false readings. He swears by prism poles for anything precise.
