Tried asking a flat earther for just one piece of proof. Got a 20 minute lecture on nasa

I was at a diner in Boulder last month and this guy at the counter kept going on about the flat earth. I just asked him for one specific thing that convinced him personally and he spent 20 minutes talking about NASA lying about Antarctica. Has anyone else tried getting a straight answer out of someone deep into this stuff?

I bet he never mentioned how airline pilots navigate around a sphere every day.

Have you ever actually watched a pilot's flight map on the little screen in front of you? They're flying great circle routes, which look curved on a flat map but are actually the shortest path on a sphere. So yes, they absolutely know the world is round, and they use that fact every single day to save fuel and time.
