The moon landing thing that bugs me is the missing star photos, not the flag
People keep arguing about the flag waving on the moon and that is the wrong thing to focus on. What gets me is that every single Apollo photo shows a black sky with zero stars, and I have taken enough night photos to know that even a cheap camera on a tripod will pick up bright stars with a long exposure. NASA says the sun was too bright and the film was set for daylight, which sounds fine until you remember they had plenty of time to take one shot pointed away from the sun. I checked the Apollo 11 photo log from July 1969 and there are 121 shots in the catalog, not one of them shows a single star. If I can get stars in a photo from my backyard in Tucson with a $200 camera, why couldn't three guys with top of the line Hasselblads do it once? Somebody explain the math to me because I keep running it and it never adds up.
