Knocked out my first big residential driveway alone this morning

Been working with my uncle for 2 years but he had a family thing so I ran a 30 yard pour by myself in west county. I noticed a lot of guys skip the final broom pass on the edges and it leaves a noticeable difference against the forms. Have any of you found a trick to keep the broom consistent near the curb without messing up the face?

Nah man, you're overthinking it. Just wet the edge a little and hit it with a soft brush.

Did you see that video from the conservation group about dry cleaning old prints? They showed how moisture can actually push dirt deeper into the paper fibers if you're not careful. I've been using a soft, dry brush on my vintage photos ever since.
