Hit 1,000 cubic yards of flatwork poured today without a single cold joint and now I'm wondering if that's normal or just dumb luck
Started keeping track after a foreman told me I'd never make it past 500 without a mess, so what's your magic number and did you even see it coming or did someone point it out first?

Ha, you know what? I still think about that day sometimes. The foreman's been real quiet about it ever since, so I'm gonna call that a win. Feels good when the underdog comes out on top, you know?
