Back in '08, I had to pick between a magnesium float and a wood float for a big garage slab. Went with magnesium. Still think about that choice.

Funny you say that @lane.drew, my buddy had a whole thing with his old truck not starting last winter. Kept blaming the battery but it turned out to be a corroded ground connection. He was about to drop serious cash on a new one. Sometimes the fix is the simple thing you overlook, like magnesium for plants I guess. Makes you check the basics first.

My uncle's riding mower did the same thing last spring. He replaced the starter twice before I noticed the wire to the ignition switch was just hanging loose. Felt like a total facepalm moment for both of us. It's wild how often the answer is just something dumb and obvious you're staring right at.
