Why does nobody talk about people who stand on the left side of the escalator?
I see it every morning at Central Station in Boston, people just planted on the left while the rest of us are trying to walk up. Is it just cluelessness or do some people think it's fine to block the fast lane?

People just check out in public spaces, same energy as blocking aisles at Target.
